WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Joe Courtney on WEDNESDAY, April 11, at 6:30 p.m. will host a Town Hall meeting at New London Science and Technology Magnet School to discuss Medicare and House Republican plans to privatize the program.
The meeting is open to the public and media, and will include brief remarks from Rep. Courtney, as well as a question-and-answer session.

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Joe Courtney today encouraged eastern Connecticut's aspiring young artists to participate in the 2012 Congressional Art Competition. The competition is open to high school students only, grades 9 through 12, and the winner will be selected at the District Art Show and Competition on Friday May 4. WASHINGTON, DC – Senator Richard Blumenthal and Congressman Joe Courtney today applauded more than $2 million in grant awards from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to combat lead paint and other home health hazards in Norwich. In all, the City of Norwich was awarded $ 1,927,857 in Lead Based Paint Hazard Control grant program funding and $180,000 in healthy homes supplemental funding for the identification and reduction of home health hazards in 95 housing units.
