Help with a Federal Agency

One of the most important things I do as a U.S. Representative is help people with federal problems. Although I cannot override the decisions made by a federal agency, I can often intervene on a person's behalf to answer questions, find solutions, or just cut through the red tape. Below you will find a list of agencies that I can help you with.
However, regardless of which agency you need help with, I need a completed privacy authorization form to comply with the provisions of the Privacy Act.
Please note that as a Member of Congress, State of Connecticut and local matters are not within my jurisdiction. These include but are not limited to:
Title XIX
Motor vehicle registration
Driver's licenses
Husky Insurance
State of Connecticut spend-downs
Unemployment Insurance
Please contact your State Senator or State Representative with any issues you may be experiencing within Connecticut’s government. You can search your representative by visiting the Connecticut General Assembly website here.
For all local matters, such as town services, schools, or property taxes, please contact your city or town hall.
I am only able to help residents of the 2nd Congressional District. If you live outside the district, please contact your member of Congress. You can find their contact information here.
