The contract is for continued engineering, technical services, concept studies and design of a common missile compartment for the United Kingdom Successor SSBN and the Ohio replacement SSBN.

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Joe Courtney and the House of Representatives today passed the FY12 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) conference report, building on gains in submarine production and bolstering eastern Connecticut's industrial base. The agreement authorizes billions of dollars of investments for Electric Boat and other key defense priorities for eastern Connecticut and the state. The NDAA sets the federal budget for the Department of Defense for fiscal year 2012.

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Joe Courtney today announced that Windham Hospital has secured a $101,597 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to to implement an electronic health record system at the two school based health clinics in Windham. The grant is a product of the Affordable Care Act, which provided a total of $200 million for FY 2010 through FY 2013 for school-based health centers.
