Norwich, CT—Today, Congressman Joe Courtney announced that a $70,000 federal economic development grant has been awarded to the Southeastern Connecticut Enterprise Region, Inc. (seCTer). After meeting with U.S. Economic Development (EDA) Regional Administrator Willie Taylor and Congressman Courtney, seCTer applied for the funding based on their 2013 designation by EDA as an Economic Development District qualifying the organization for the $70,000 partner planning grant.
