“We recognize the impact that the pandemic had on our borrowers,” said Secretary Cardona, in response to Rep. Courtney, “and extending the pause is something that we have had conversations about."

“Combat disabled veterans aren’t getting a fair deal right now, and I want to thank Congressman Scott for pulling together this bipartisan group to make it right,” said Rep. Courtney.

“Investing in workforce development is one of the best ways we can get our economy back on track as we recover from the pandemic, and this grant will go a long way in making sure workers have the necessary skills for jobs in our state’s growing healthcare sector."

“Our region’s economy can’t operate at full strength without our local airports, and in eastern Connecticut we’ve got local airports from the Quiet Corner to the shoreline that are responsible for moving thousands of passengers, and millions of dollars’ worth of goods around the country each year,” said Rep. Courtney.

“Our region’s local theaters, museums, and live venues don’t just make eastern Connecticut a great place to live, they also create real, good-paying jobs,” said Congressman Courtney.
