“Our region’s economy can’t operate at full strength without our local airports, and in eastern Connecticut we’ve got local airports from the Quiet Corner to the shoreline that are responsible for moving thousands of passengers, and millions of dollars’ worth of goods around the country each year,” said Rep. The Seapower and Projection Forces subcommittee meets this morning to hear testimony from the Department of the Navy on the fiscal year 2022 budget.
