Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Joe Courtney released the following statement after a preliminary nuclear agreement with Iran was announced by the United States and members of the P5 +1 nations:

Hudson, New Hampshire--Today at American Legion Post 48 in Hudson, New Hampshire, Representatives Joe Courtney (CT-2) and Annie Kuster (NH-2) presented John Ekenbarger with medals earned during his service in the Korean War. Mr. Ekenbarger served as an Anti-aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Crewman in the 2nd Infantry Division, U.S. Army.
WASHINGTON—Today, the House passed H.R. 2, the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015—a bill which Congressman Joe Courtney (CT-2) co-sponsored—to enact a permanent ‘doc fix' that provides predictable reimbursement rates from Medicare to providers, and repeals the flawed Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) formula adopted in 1997.
