WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Joe Courtney today announced that the U.S. Navy awarded Groton-based Electric Boat (EB) a $429.1 million contract modification for design, planning and technical support for the Navy’s active nuclear submarines. The contract will be incrementally funded, and 73 percent of its work will be performed at Groton.
