Ranking Member Courtney Statement on $2.7B Sikorsky Contract

NORWICH, CT. – Today, Congressman Joe Courtney (CT-02), Ranking Member of the House Subcommittee on Seapower and Projection Forces, issued the following statement after the U.S. Navy announced a $2.7B contract for Sikorsky to build 35 CH-53K helicopters.

“Thanks to funding and procurement authority I helped authorize in last year's NDAA, Sikorsky—the best helicopter manufacturer in the game—will have the resources it needs to support its talented CT workforce and strengthen our national security.”
