MONTVILLE, Conn. (WTNH) - If you're looking for a job and live in the eastern side of the state, a career fair is being offered in Montville next week.

The Connecticut Department of Labor says a series of 'Micro Career Fairs' have been offered on Wednesday at the Monvtille American Job Center. They say the next event is on September 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 601 Norwich-New London Trunpike, Suite 1 in Uncasville.

"Our Montville Micro Career Fairs, also known as 'Employer Wednesdays,' have successfully been connecting jobseekers to new employment or different careers this summer," said Labor Commissioner Kurt Westby. "Our goal has been to provide jobseekers with opportunities to meet one-on-one with local businesses and help local employers fill their positions."
