The Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment Deal

My office heard from people in towns across our region this year who wanted to see Congress work together to reinvest in our infrastructure, and we always stuck to that mindset—eastern Connecticut needs infrastructure improvements, and we needed a bipartisan deal to get it done. That's exactly what we got with the IIJA. This bill is going to give a boost to every family and business who uses our bridges, roads, highways and waterways in eastern Connecticut, and it's going to create a lot of good-paying jobs along the way.
