An Update on COVID-19 Relief: for families, workers & businesses
On December 21, 2020 the House and Senate passed H.R. 133, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021. The legislation passed the House by bipartisan votes of 327-85 and 359-53 (split into two sections) and passed the Senate by a bipartisan vote of 92-6.
The bill was signed into law on December 27, 2020. The bill included both the routine Fiscal Year 20201 appropriations package to fund the government through September 30, 2021, and a new round of bipartisan COVID-19 relief.
As agencies implement the COVID-19 relief programs, they will continue to release guidance necessary for ensuring all eligible individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and other entities receive the relief they deserve.
