All of the below tours are free, and distributed on a first come, first served basis by each institution.
My office will gladly process your request, but please note that space is limited and so I recommend submitting your request at least two months in advance of your trip.

  • The White House offers tours for groups of 10 or more. These self-guided tours will be scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. In addition to the tours above, I encourage you to reserve tickets for the additional attractions below:

Washington Monument – Reserve tickets ahead of time online. You can do so through the National Parks Recreations website.

State Department - Guided tours are offered of the Diplomatic Reception Rooms, Monday through Friday at 9:30 am, 10:30 am, and 2:45 pm. Tours are 45 minutes in duration. Reservations are required the State Department and should be made on-line.

Kennedy Center - Free tours of the Kennedy Center are given by the Friends of the Kennedy Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. They depart from the parking plaza on Level A, and feature the Hall of States and Hall of Nations, the Center's main theaters, and dozens of paintings, sculptures, and other artworks given to the Center by foreign countries.
